Mag runs the amazing Live Lounge group on Facebook. Hailing from South Wales, Mag was brought up by a Rare Vinyl Collection Paul (Spike) Matthews who collection mainly consists of Northern soul, Crossover and rocksteady.
Paul was a regular Dj for Pink flamingo (Newport) and Blackwood Soul Club. Paul Has DJ’d alongside Sean Chapman(way back when) and Russ Winstanley to which Mag had her very first debut spinning a few tunes! Mag played her first solo set for soul scorcher charity every south wales along side the late Jon Russ, Dylan Williams and Simon Bonsor. Playing her first stream set in 2022 and started up Northern Soul Live Lounge and More back in April 2025 with the idea of showcasing fellow DJs every evening and giving DJs and collectors a chance to play their amazing collections where they might not be given the opportunity to before. Luckily the idea and the group has taken off with triumph and have also been featured in the Scottish Fanzine Soul View( written by David Miller)
The group plans to put on a live all day event hopefully next (where I will be DJing too)
