Brian has been playing soul music as a DJ in the UK from 1969. A big Wigan lad and also visiting the Blackpool Mecca on many occasions. In 1974 Brian joined the Mellotone sound system with Paul Walsh playing at clubs and bars the length and breadth of the UK!
Brian had many jobs in Soul bars/Clubs around Newcastle and Sunderland, Durham city and Teesside into Scotland and Carlisle. 45 years on Brian is still spinning vinyl soul and still into his Lambretta Scooters. Catch Brian's Mixcloud show Brian Atkinson A19 Soul Show
